Irish Daily Mail – International Rules Series – Mail Your Jersey Competition PROjekt was tasked to develop a campaign that would promote the positive association between the Irish Daily Mail & The International Rules series. We collaborated with the Marketing team to create as much noise as possible with a fun, interactive, simple and engaging competition called Mail Your Jersey that grabbed the ‘communities’ attention and generated PR and Social Media conversation. The idea was firmly rooted in the brand and to add some additional exposure and fun to we teamed up with Hector and 2FM.
Listeners / Readers were encouraged to enter pictures of themselves – or others -‐ in a GAA jersey – to firstname.lastname@example.org and the winning entrant won a trip to Australia or a trip home for friends
In paper advertising, radio and online support would draw further attention to the competition directing more listeners to the Hector show. Irish Daily Mail advertisements promoted the competition in the run up to the game.
The campaign included an Outside Broadcast with Hector from from Croke Park to launch and concluded with the winners and all entrants featuring in the Irish Daily Mail – Mail Your Jersey souvenir supplement.
